After six months of researching the top hair transplant clinics in Turkey, Now Hair Time (also known as Nowhairtime) was on my shortlist. They’re not a scam. They’re professional, have good results, and offer a clean, hospital-based setup.

But despite their solid reputation, I didn’t choose them.

Instead, I went with Clinicana—and after nine months of recovery and growth, I can confidently say it was the right decision. In this review, I’ll explain why I chose Clinicana over Now Hair Time and break down the key differences that mattered most to me.

Is Now Hair Time Legit?

Yes. Now Hair Time is a legitimate hair transplant clinic based in Istanbul, Turkey. They have been active for over a decade, claim to have completed more than 12,000 operations, and attract patients from across Europe, the Middle East, and the US.

Here’s what my research found about them:

📍 Location & Facilities

  • They operate within a hospital environment, which they highlight for its sterile conditions and modern equipment.

  • The facilities include separate rooms for consultations, operations, and aftercare, with translators for multiple languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese).

💇‍♂️ Techniques Used

Now Hair Time offers a range of hair transplant techniques, including:

  • FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) – the most common method

  • Sapphire FUE – uses sapphire blades for finer incisions

  • DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) – follicles implanted directly without channel opening

  • Unshaven FUE – for those who don’t want a full head shave

They describe a typical operation lasting 6–8 hours, including hairline design, local anesthesia, follicle extraction, channel opening, implantation, and dressing.

🧳 Packages for International Patients

Now Hair Time’s packages include:

  • Airport transfers (VIP)

  • 3 nights at a hotel with breakfast included

  • Hospital fees covered

  • 30 days of medication and after-care products (shampoo, lotion)

  • Interpreter support throughout the process

  • Post-op support, which they describe as “lifelong medical support until you get perfect results”

They mention two types of packages for international patients, but they don’t break down the differences publicly.

💰 Pricing & “Maximum Graft Fixed Price”

Unlike some clinics, they don’t list a specific cost per graft or a flat fee online. Instead, they use the term “maximum graft fixed price,” which means (in their words) that they won’t charge extra for higher graft counts up to a certain limit. However, the actual price range and graft limit aren’t published—you have to request a quote privately.

🧑‍⚕️ Surgeons & Team

The clinic was founded by Melik Yağmur, who has 19 years’ experience in the health sector. Their listed physician is Dr. Mustafa Alibeyoğlu (born 1994, medical training 2014–2020). The website says their procedures are carried out by “experienced hair transplant specialists under the supervision of an operator doctor plastic surgeon,” but it doesn’t name the lead hair transplant surgeon specifically or outline their surgical record.

📈 Volume & Capacity

They state openly that 4–5 operations are carried out per day in their hospital. This indicates a high patient throughput, which some might see as efficient, but it can also mean less individual attention.

🏅 Certifications & Accreditations

  • ISO 9001 (quality management)

  • ISO 10002 (customer satisfaction)

  • They say their treatments are done in “contracted health institutions” with health tourism authorization certificates from the Turkish Ministry of Health.

However, they don’t display international hair transplant–specific accreditations such as ISHRS or JCI, and they don’t showcase any peer-reviewed scientific studies or published survival-rate data.

📝 Reviews & Reputation

Now Hair Time has a 4.8 score on Trustpilot but only 158 reviews (as at 2nd Oct 2025), with several early 2024 reviews being 1-star. Recent reviews are much more positive, but the lower volume compared to competitors was something I noted.

How I Researched Clinics Before Choosing

I spent 6 months comparing more than 15 clinics. My research included:

  • Reading thousands of reviews on Trustpilot, Google, Reddit, and RealSelf

  • Comparing prices and what’s included in each package

  • Evaluating before-and-after photos

  • Checking for guarantees

  • Reading about the surgical team’s qualifications

  • Watching patient testimonials and vlog recoveries

Clinics I considered seriously included:

  • Clinicana

  • Now Hair Time

  • Vera Clinic

  • EsteNove

  • Cosmedica

Each one had strengths. But Clinicana was the only one that ticked all the boxes for quality, transparency, and peace of mind.

Why I Chose Clinicana Over Nowhairtime

Below are the core differences that helped me decide.

1. ✅ Guaranteed Results

Clinicana offers a written guarantee: if the implanted grafts don’t grow, they’ll redo the procedure free of charge. That gave me complete peace of mind.

Now Hair Time does not mention any results guarantee publicly.

2. 📊 Transparent Pricing

Clinicana publishes a clear, fixed price of €2,850, which includes:

  • Up to 5,000 grafts

  • Hotel stay

  • VIP transport

  • Procedure

  • Aftercare kit

  • Translator

  • Follow-up support

Nowhairtime uses the phrase “maximum graft fixed price,” but doesn’t publish an actual number. I couldn’t find out what “maximum” meant or what the price would be without messaging them privately.

I prefer upfront transparency when dealing with medical procedures—no surprises.

3. ⭐ Verified Review Volume

Clinicana has 5,000+ reviews across platforms:

  • Trustpilot: 4.8 average (1,000+ verified)

  • Google: Over 2,500 reviews

Now Hair Time also shows a 4.8 score on Trustpilot—but has only 158 reviews, and their earliest reviews in 2024 were 1-star. That raised questions for me.

4. 🧑‍⚕️ Clear Medical Credentials

Clinicana showcases its lead surgeons and medical staff with:

  • Doctor bios

  • Years of experience

  • ISHRS memberships

  • Real names and photos

Now Hair Time lists Dr. Mustafa Alibeyoğlu (born in 1994), but there’s no mention of his experience in hair transplant surgery specifically, and no ISHRS membership shown.

For something as permanent as a hair transplant, surgeon transparency matters.

5. 💼 Patient Volume and Quality Control

Clinicana keeps their daily operations to a manageable volume. In contrast, Now Hair Time reports doing 4–5 surgeries per day, which made me wonder about the individual attention each patient receives.

High volume can sometimes mean rushed procedures.

Are There Any Red Flags with Now Hair Time?

They are not a scam. But here’s what concerned me:

  • No published price

  • No results guarantee

  • Low number of external reviews

  • No peer-reviewed results

  • Limited info on surgeons

  • High surgical volume per day

These weren’t dealbreakers on their own, but when compared to what Clinicana offered, they added up.

If you’re just starting your research, Now Hair Time might seem like a good fit—and for some people, it might be. But after deep comparison, I found that Clinicana offered better transparency, more protection, and more proof of consistent results.
