Review Of Elithair (Istanbul)
When I first started my research into a hair transplant in Turkey, Elithair kept popping up. Their reputation as one of the biggest names in the industry is hard to miss. They call themselves “Istanbul’s premier hair loss clinic,” and to be fair, there are plenty of reasons why.
Over six months, I compared dozens of clinics, spoke with past patients, and read thousands of reviews. Elithair stood out because of its huge 13-floor facility in Istanbul, their branded NEO FUE® prep system to boost graft survival, and their mix of advanced implantation methods like DHI, Sapphire FUE, and their hybrid SDHI® technique. They even offer their own “Sleep-Deep” anesthesia option to make the procedure more comfortable.
On top of that, their all-inclusive packages cover hotel stays, transfers, aftercare, and even send you the NEO FUE kit before surgery. Their reviews are also strong — with thousands of 4.7–4.8 star ratings across Google and ProvenExpert.
So, if Elithair has all this, why didn’t I choose them?
What Made Me Look Beyond Elithair
I’ll be honest — Elithair is a solid clinic. They have size, reputation, and marketing strength. But when I dug deeper, I found a few things that didn’t quite give me the peace of mind I needed.
Price structure – Elithair charges by the graft, with a sliding scale from about £2,850 for 2,000 grafts to £3,450+ for 5,000 grafts. It’s transparent, but I personally preferred the flat-fee approach at Clinicana, which covers up to 5,000 grafts without hidden extras (not to mention that the total cost was much lower than Elithair).
Guarantees – Elithair claims 98% graft survival, but I couldn’t find any independent, peer-reviewed studies to back that up. Clinicana, on the other hand, gave me a written procedure guarantee: if my implanted roots didn’t grow, they would redo or fix it for free. That safety net was huge for me.
Reputation – Whilst Elithair does have a lot of good online reviews, their average review rating at the time I was researching was only 4.6. Clinicana’s average rating was 4.8 on Trustpilot and an impressive 4.9 on Google.
